Suggestion: /info_self
(1/1)
TonyV:
Hey, I have a quick suggestion. We've had several comment boiling down to, "It didn't pick up badge x," followed by the suggestion, "type /info_self," which resolve the issue.
We might want to actually put in the window of the Sentinel application itself to use the /info_self command to captures all of the character's current badges.
Fallen Angel Eyes:
Not meaning to necro this at all, but I think this would be a great idea. I just spent 10 minutes hunting around trying to figure out how to update my badges. When Sentinel was initially released, it wouldn't run for me. I went on vacation for 5 weeks and now that I'm back, it's working but all I could remember was that "there was some slash command I needed to use... what is it?" I finally found it in the initial release notes for the program. It may also be good to put a note I think this would definitely help. It may also help to put a note under the Settitle Bind Files section under "Download" that using this command is all you need to do now (another place I checked before the release notes).

The help files are readily available, both within the program (Help > Contents) and at the CIT website ( http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel/ ). These are the same help files at both sites, and the help really does explain every single part and pane of the program. I highly recommend reading help files if you can't figure something out at first glance. That's why they're there :)
Not that I don't think the program should say "Use /infoself to capture your character data" when you first load up the program. That's a great idea.
