Heroes and Villains,
I don't post here, this is probably my first, but since the announced closure I created an account and I keep a close eye pretty much daily on all your efforts, this has always been a very strong community and its nice to see no one has given up (keeps me hopefull).
I am (was) a union player (@Warfdalic), I have played constantly since 2005 and so has my son (the missus is not a gamer, I tired to convert her but you know girls), who got his own account in 2007 (when he was 6) and he played just as much as me, if not more. To say we are both heart broken is probably the understatement of my life.
I found the new business development contact portal for google and submitted the text below, I hope this does not tread on anyone toes or plans, this was not my intention.

Google I implore you to be our hero and save our city.
Let this award winning and record holding title be Google's first game to bring back to life and not the last, use this as an opportunity to further expand on the Google empire, which will further the success of Google financially and win more hearts and minds in the gaming community than you could ever imagine.
The closure of the #1 superhero online game of all time, which generated over $180 million in revenue, was home to over 100,000 players and 43 million avatars, was still in full development at the time that NCsoft announced they were ‘pulling the plug’. It still had one of the top customer retention rates in the industry – no small feat for a game eight years old with seemingly no advertising budget.
Please find just 10 minutes of your day looking at the commitment of the community behind the efforts to try and save our beloved city and it will be clear there is a good business case to look into.
Be our hero and bring back our city.
I cannot thank you enough in the first instance for just reading this and please do not see this as unsolicited junk and throw it away, if this is not the correct forum for contacting Google about new business then please accept my sincere apology as I do not wish Google to have any negative thoughts about our efforts as a community to save our world.
Sascha
