hopefully that remains the case through the final release, since, if this is anything the windows 8.0 tech preview, it will change radically between now and oct2015

I haven't tried it with Icon yet but the Windows 10 preview is certainly less annoying to me than the original Windows 8 preview.

I'm actually running Windows 10 Tech preview at the moment. ICON seems to be working fine and I doubt anything's going to change significantly up until release that will affect that.

Actually...Strike that... I can't seem to actually go from the character creator into the game...

Sounds like you're trying to run cityofheroes.exe instead of icon.exe - that's the error you get when City can't find the servers.

You're running an old version of Icon. The torrent that's floating around for I24 includes an older icon.exe in it; you need to grab the latest from the forum thread and replace it.

Ah, Yep. There we go. Thanks, CW. First time I'd used a version of the client from that torrent... -shrugs-
But it's working fine. Been wandering around Atlas Park for a good 20 minutes in Icon on my #2 monitor while I tweak lighting, Field of View, DOF, and other such miscellaneous things in Revival.

Yes, You have my express permission! However, I think it's CodeWalker who should be getting the high praise here. His tools and knowledge have made my job *MUCH* easier.

CodeWalker's awesome too. But, he's not doing all that much on APR.

In fact, all the people working on any of the CoH related projects are awesome.

Why do I feel like playing that Lego movie song...?  :o
