This event seems familiar but I can't remember the final fight at all. If I have or haven't seen it before, they don't run it often.

I haven't played CO in a long time and I still cringe at his voice acting....
When he tells you to take care of the bad guys while he messes with a freakin' computer made me lol...

The best part of Nighthawk is being in the most ridiculous costume you can be during the hallway cutscene.

The event itself is the first event we had in 2012. Technical issues kept it from being used since the first two times. Now it's back, I presume as filler while they prepare an update they've been heads-down on for this past few weeks.

And I check the CO forum to see people complaining about the sheer fail rate of the event due to the sheer number of vehicle nerfs.  A shame, but not a surprise, since the event was designed around hit-and-run gameplay rather than tank and spank when it came to the original vehicles.  Not moving was a good way for lasers to destroy you and you had to keep moving endlessly or die, now that isn't even a viable tactic i'm sure, due to that sheer slow down.

Honestly I think they might just be hosting the event to see if vehicles really are as unviable as people are saying they are currently.

The event was completed very quickly last night by a PuG. Some of us used the included jets. I used fast attack to eliminate the guy with the healing beam, and it wasn't hard at all to avoid the lasers. Tractor beam did have a tendency of making the lasers tougher to deal with, though.

I ran this once in a pug with a bunch of other newbs who were in the default vehicle and mashed buttons until we won. You can lose? You don't get anything special for winning anyway.

There's no interesting rewards I can see that come out of the event plus I never have enjoyed vehicles and now that they're so gimpy...sooo... Yeah. It was a mildly entertaining one-run event for me.

As with everything personal taste makes a difference. I'm not invested in vehicles f/x. So, SC or LI or anything that relies on vehicles in general hasn't interested me much.

For another example.. even though the cutscenes aren't the smoothest at times I thought Nighthawk was the highlight of the event and Blackjak dislikes him so much he even decided to comment about it hehe.

Another example would be that I like FM so much I think it could be more than a Custom alurt. Most people probly don't even like FM.

Well, they used to have a reward, you'd get a bag that could have a prototype.  That was since removed, so theres no point other than a few globals.  It's more of a shame.

What the complaints focus on more is how the slow-down makes dodging lasers far harder then it was originally supposed to be and the fact that the boss can easily just run away all the time, but go figure.  Honestly it just seems it's a bad gameplay issue anymore.
