Thank the Online Comic Community
« on: September 18, 2012, 08:20:28 PM »
I had already heard the PVP comic had done a strip about the pending CoX closure (and has a history of doing CoX strips now and again). I never could get into that comic, but I do read a bunch of others include Wayward Sons and today's space took a break from their wonderful story and art to give us a nod by using a PVP strip.

So I have to admit, the PVP nod is causing traction amongst other online hero comics, since it's a group who tend to cross-promote each other's comics.

I don't know how to specifically link to today's comic (9/18/12), but here's the site link: http://waywardsons.keenspot.com/

Quick addition:

I emailed Benny Powell at Wayward Sons just after my original post to thank him for the shout-out and already received a response. He had a dozen Level 50s at one point and was an original Beta tester, and a big redside player with a long history in CoX he had hoped to return to, and still does.

I wonder if we need to reach-out more actively to the hero webcomics?

I don't make a very good pitch man for these sorts of things, but anyone with more PR flare might want to ping the authors of these super-hero themed comics:
