Valtyr, you are fined five credits for violation of the verbal morality statute

Excellent. I still haven't gotten a handle on those seashells.

This is how all wars should be fought.  By lunatics on youtube.  Giant robots optional.

I liked one story where the villain at the end was fatally wounded and going to die, Dredd had already sentenced him to life in the ISO cubes, so Dredd has the villain put in suspension until medical science can revive and heal him so that he can THEN serve life in the ISO cubes.   "No one escapes the law!"
Holy Heyzues forgot that story--was great stuff-I think its time to break out some dredd to read again...

i agree, except that i think that giant robots should only be optional in certain rare circumstances.

Well....it's been a year and a half now.  What else were you expecting?   ;)

You might want to check out the Paragon Chat section of these forums, though.  SCoRE has been working like crazy and it will hopefully launch tomorrow night if all goes well.   :D

How do you keep a CoXer in suspense?

Ongoing negotiations!
It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes a villain to explain the value of lunch money.

-Random CoHer: "Why does the sky turn green during Rikti invasions?"
-Me:"Rikti Monkey farts"
-Random CoHer: "I'm going to you for all my questions from now on!"

I am drop dead tired after two nights of staying up to about 5 a.m.  I want to do something fun right now, but I should sleep.

I still miss City.

Even if it's terrible (which let's be honest, it probably will be) that's great news if only because having him around in 3030 means the Source is thrown out of continuity.

I liked the last Highlander mini series that showed that Connor suffered a Dark Quickening after he took down Kurgan and how Duncan helped to cleanse him.

This would explain why Duncan knew of Dark Quickenings in Season 4 when his friend absorbed too much and went darkside.  Season 1 had also hinted about Dark Quickenings when Duncan told Richie how Darius was a warlord until he took the power of an immortal holy man into himself and was changed to good.

I think the current official Highlander continuity is: first movie retconned so that it was NOT the final gathering, followed by the series, then the fourth movie Endgame.  Movies 2, 3 and 5 are disregarded.

Well except in that episode Duncan had only heard vague rumors of one and had to ask Joe, who'd also only heard rumors, so first-hand knowledge is a retcon. Endgame should maybe be disregarded too, as they forgot he was never married and was cursed not to be.

All I could find online of the new series is that #1 is supposed to be out but doesn't seem to have been scanned and isn't available digitally (which for my purposes means it doesn't exist). The Emerald comics website has a variant cover of it for the low low price of fifty bucks and a free sampler with an excerpt, the latter, however is a dead link. There was enough in the two reviews I found to suggest it's awful though - for some reason his hair is grey and he's living on a colony on Venus after having fought in the second Martian war for independence.

In which case, we reserve the right to bring out Godzilla. ;)

Where did you find the reviews for Highlander 3030?
