Hello all, after using Icon for months now, I've been surprised that there was no popmenu which would allow us to be NPCs, so I made one. I recently updated it to include the NPCs which are on the OldNPC popmenu.

The path I used was:

City of Heroes -> CoHbeta -> data -> texts -> English -> menus

The command to access it is /popmenu benpc. Have fun!

Edit: I said when this thread first became a sticky that I would release another popmenu that I had been working on. This one allows you to spawn old versions of NPCs whose models were either updated or never used. Same path as the Benpc popmenu. The command to access this is /popmenu oldnpc.

Notes
1. Although the Circle of Thorns are included in the Oldnpc popmenu, the models there were tested by the developers when they were redesigning the Circle of Thorns and deemed not good enough, so they were never released live. The pre-i21 Circle of Thorns costumes are not included because I was unable to find their model names. If anyone knows them, feel free to contact me and I'll add them.

2. The 5th Column section consists of two giant robots which were never released live.

3. For the Oldnpc popmenu, I only included NPC costumes which were used before a redesign or never released live. That means that even though the 5th Column had some costumes which were never released live, I did not include the costumes that were.

4. The Benpc popmenu has been updated to include the contents of the Oldnpc popmenu.

Haha, thanks Aggelakis. I honestly didn't expect that to happen! As I was trying to find the thread I kept scrolling down thinking it had sunken lower. It didn't occur to me what had happened until I was about to go do something else.

I'm also developing a popmenu for old NPCs like the Infected pre-i21. I'll release that on this thread once it's complete. Thanks again!

Whenever I use this and bring a character to PChat, they come out distorted and invisible to most people. Can you help me solve this?

NJQuazar, PC functions differently than Icon. While you can extract costume data from Be-ing-NPC in Icon and hack a costume together using that data (there are other threads that detail that), there may be mesh distortions or you may be invisible because PC does not register the costume/costume pieces as usable player bodyforms and therefore will not appear visible to other users in PC in most cases.
I've seen some users using some pieces and body forms than seem like they should not/would not be visible but are, but I have no idea what they are doing.
