Cool build.  You could probably hit softcap if you added Steadfast and Glad Armor unique.  Here's a build I had ready for i24.  No defense, the object was to try to kill everything before they could get to me.  Burst-Slug-Burst-Sniper Rifle-repeat for single target.  M30 to knock them down, Full Auto to clean up the canon fodder.  Web Envelope, another M30 and Buckshot to keep lieutenants at bay if they survive the first onslaught.  Left over Bosses would get annihilated from the single target attack chain. For spits and giggles, try to finish him off with Ignite.  Ha!  It was pretty fun consistently having 3-4 Gun Drones and sometimes 3 Spiderlings/2 Robotic Drones helping with damage.

One of my main toons was an Arch/Dev blaster.  Opochtli.  It can be a slog in the lower levels, but he's a strong blaster once getting rain of arrows.  It's a fun build to play.

The main difference is my guy took healing pool rather than leadership.

Thanks for the responses  8). I had an AR/Dev at 50 way before shutdown, but didn't really enjoy AR(nothing wrong with the set, just for some reason couldn't really get into it.) and a Arch/Dev(though he only made it to 32..I honestly just wanted to see what is was like to use RoA lol..no actual plans to get it to 50  :P). I made this build in hopes of giving Arch another go on a blaster.
P.S: I -did- manage to get an arch to 50..tho it was a Traps/Arch def. and I didn't really enjoy the low damage of archery on a def..that might have also been the reason I avoided it for so long  :-\

I had a Arch/Dev for a little while back in the day. He was better than I originally thought he'd be. single target was no problem (good damage) and I toe bombed for most of my aoe needs.

Speaking of toe bombing, I see you left it out of your build. Variety being the spice of life and all...it's such a nice power to have. you can also set up for a big bang against an EB or more with that power.

There's also quite a bit of variety in the Dev set which you can add so you decide what's going on in the battle which you might want to consider.
I really like caltrops. They give you an extra get out of jail card and give you the option of controlling how the mobs attack you (block a door, block an escape route, get a barrier, make em runnoft, etc). I even want time bomb since it gives a huge damage buff that last for 15 seconds... kind of like a light version of BU.

Not a bad build Ank  ;D. The reasons I left out the bombs was that I feel that the game will resume a fast paced feel once people start re aquanting themselves with the game and its mechanics, and the bombs will slow me down in team play(and for solo, ill mostly just be doing a BU+RoA+Fistful chain(for mobs) and blazing arrow/straight shot/fistful/blazing chain for single target dps

This is Sureshot..Arch/Dev build. I had remade him so he would have the instant snipe come Issue 24.. which obviously never happened. I didnt go for defense. I rarely build defense into my blasters. I went for some +damage because there is no Build Up with Device.s. Sureshot was built for accuracy and to hit buffs..

The Background

The agent codenamed Sureshot is a former CIA operative sent to infiltrate the Malta Group and gather intel on the Knives of Artemis. His true affiliation is as member of the META ( Military Engineered Tactically Advanced ) group. Unofficially funded by the FIST, the META operation utilizes new nano-machine technology and genome projects to create artificial super powered individuals. The META project has had varying degrees of success, however they have been unable to control what abilities will manifest in each test subject. SureShot developed heightened vision and an uncanny sense of accuracy. He is accuracy is so acute he is able to locate what he calls Shatterpoints in objects, weak points he can target to inflict greater damage. His weapons,armor and cloaking device are variations of Malta and Knives technology. Sureshot while employing his targeting drone and eyepiece can even see stealthed targets which has prompted META to begin to use him on numerous Arachnos missions

Here's the bio for my Arch/Dev Blaster.  Later I'll post his build and pics.  I'm at work and they're on my home PC.

Jonathan Fernandez was born while his parents were taking part in an archaeological dig at the great Aztec temple in Teotihuacan, Mexico. He was born on the very altar where human sacrifices once occurred. Upon his birth, the Aztec god Opotchli, the god of the hunt, imbued him with a fragment of his spiritual essence. As he grew, Jon found himself obsessed with hunting, of all kinds. Everything from general detective skills to an innate tracking ability were skills he mastered easily. Adding an array of high tech accessories, Jon eventually began hunting the most dangerous prey of all, criminals. Taking the name of his guardian spirit, Jon became Opotchli, the scourge of evil.

This is Sureshot..Arch/Dev build. I had remade him so he would have the instant snipe come Issue 24.. which obviously never happened. I didnt go for defense. I rarely build defense into my blasters. I went for some +damage because there is no Build Up with Device.s. Sureshot was built for accuracy and to hit buffs..

The Background

The agent codenamed Sureshot is a former CIA operative sent to infiltrate the Malta Group and gather intel on the Knives of Artemis. His true affiliation is as member of the META ( Military Engineered Tactically Advanced ) group. Unofficially funded by the FIST, the META operation utilizes new nano-machine technology and genome projects to create artificial super powered individuals. The META project has had varying degrees of success, however they have been unable to control what abilities will manifest in each test subject. SureShot developed heightened vision and an uncanny sense of accuracy. He is accuracy is so acute he is able to locate what he calls Shatterpoints in objects, weak points he can target to inflict greater damage. His weapons,armor and cloaking device are variations of Malta and Knives technology. Sureshot while employing his targeting drone and eyepiece can even see stealthed targets which has prompted META to begin to use him on numerous Arachnos missions

Very nice build Heat :D. Though, I usually try to make builds with as little in purples or expensive sets as possible, and ATIO's will be difficult to come by for abit(though, what I will most likely do is gather the components for this build and make it my alt build).

 That was the build planned for the end of the game. I expect that I will be PLing a lot when the game comes back.. so I expect to have all the influence I need. I also hope that we will get the ability through microtransactions initially to get the chance to purchase purples and ATIO's so that we can restore our characters to the level they once were..

 If not I will simply build that out over time. But once the game returns I will get it back to where it was.

Here is Opochtli in his simplest form.  No Invention enhancements.  And, I know while leveling in the game, I would likely pick different enhancement placements at each level based on what I thought I needed to improve with each level.

That was the build planned for the end of the game. I expect that I will be PLing a lot when the game comes back.. so I expect to have all the influence I need. I also hope that we will get the ability through microtransactions initially to get the chance to purchase purples and ATIO's so that we can restore our characters to the level they once were..

 If not I will simply build that out over time. But once the game returns I will get it back to where it was.
Purples:Yes(well atleast in the old market it was a yes to buying them.)
ATIO's: You'd have to play the super packs to get those but Yes..you can also use emps but you need 25 for each ATIO

The only thing that my final build live didnt have was the purples.. I had everything else and had more than enough influence to get the purples at the time of the shutdown.. I suspect when the game goes live again there will be a way to get what we want.

Yeah..I wouldnt think that we'd be left high-and-dry upon return  :-\. If that were the case, no one would be able to level any toons :o. Just, from the builds posted by Burnt Toast, and the info from toast as well, i'm abit weary of purples, ATIO's especially.
