Soooo we got some new powers and fixes and.... I downloaded an 11 meg patch.
I downloaded 400 meg from STO once just due to there was a server reset. No patch notes or anything. Their Minimum patch sizes are ~ 400 meg. It's like, luv ya STO, but, can someone turn the /compression switch on on the compiler plx.. sheesh.

I haven't played in a while, since before the powers revamp of a couple of months ago. It was shortly after the Free Freeform Slot promotion a while back, in fact.
... so 800 MB patch coming in. Yikes.

In two weeks that FF slot offer will be 1 year old. How time flies, huh. Even at 1 year I'm surprised you had to download so much. CO patches usually never go over ~ 40 meg if you're up to date. Even when they added a whole new zone (thought I posted the patch size but can't find the post now) I think I downloaded like 40 meg.
I was so blown away by that 4 gig patch STO just had (my client was up to date!) that I didn't even use any of the 2 gig surplus I had saved up at the time to download even a portion of it. Still don't know what I'm going to do about STO. I definitely wasn't looking to come back to CO but it's been working out ok.
