Title: Enhancement Boosters
Post by: Derek Icelord on September 16, 2011, 12:32:13 PM
At the risk of being stoned by the community for (possibly) delaying Mids', do you have any plans to include this nifty feature? Since they can be stacked up to 5 times per IO, you can effectively have level 55 IOs now.

Note: These do NOT bypass the effects of ED.

Well, while I don't know if they will I can give you the math behind it though.

0 - 42.4 +   104.953% = 44.5%
1 - 44.5 + 104.719% = 46.6%
2 - 46.6 + 104.721% = 48.8%
3 - 48.8  + 104.303% = 50.9%
4 - 50.9 + 104.126% = 53%
5 - 53 Maxed

So just to clarify all you need to do is work your way up.

I.E if you wanted to know what that lvl 50 Recharge IO would be at +2 you do this.
42.4*1.04953 = 44.500072 which is approximately 44.5%
then you do
44.5 + 1.04719 = 46.599955 = 46.6%

Hopefully that helps you out some. I found this out on BETA and tested it on multiple types of IOs. For IOs with more than one bonus just do the math separately for each type of enhancements.

The multipliers used for relative levels are as such:

-3 = 0.70
-2 = 0.80
-1 = 0.90
+0 = 1.00
+1 = 1.05
+2 = 1.10
+3 = 1.15
+4 = 1.20
+5 = 1.25

This means a +5 single-aspect purple IO will boost that aspect by 66%--two SOs worth in one Enhancement.

My apologies then, your method is much easier GuyPerfect. Still, if I'm not mistaken both ways came up with the correct numbers when rounded up.

Thanks for the numbers, still would like to know if Mids' will include these at some point :P

Mids' will include these at some point. The code is mostly there for SOs and HOs, I just need to apply them to IOs and allow for greater than ++.
