Well well well... guess what i'd ask for ??
yeah, you're right, i'm having troubles with my all ice dom...
i'm still low level (around 20 if i remember correctly), and i feel like stuck there, i cant get around any real good build.
does anyone have something like this somewhere ???

I have an Ice/Ice (who was last tweaked prior to Ice being an Epic option for her) Dominator. Nothing special, and only outfitted with common IOs, but I could post the build this evening if you want to see it.

My Ice/Ice didn't really kick into high gear until Ice Slash and Bitter Ice Blast came into the picture (which is level 35-38). After that, I went for Ice Mastery and took such gems as Hibernate and Sleet. The character is quite enjoyable, but whenever I exemp down to lower levels for Task Forces I feel seriously disabled.

Since this was also pre-inherent Stamina, that will give you a little extra room for tweaking, too.

Right. As I noted above, her build hasn't been touched since before villains gained access to the hero ancillary pools or she would have likely been Ice/Ice/Ice too. I've been considering a respec for that, but - as you noted - there are definite advantages to the Soul Mastery pool that I would miss.

I just generally pass on Sleep powers - especially in any build with as many AoE opportunities to awaken an entire spawn as this one has. Personal preference, and mileage may vary depending on the player.

yeah right.
i just tried it with first my blast and at that time it sucked, then with my tank, and it still sucked... now, it may be a good PBAoE to start, then chillblain then glacier then ice sword circle... but if it's still useless... (when i tried, i had it slotted with 3 SO chance to hit 52, and it missed 4 out of 5 times... even on -20 lvl targets...
as for the soul mastery patron, it definitely get some real interest with shields, aoe +end, and aoe +acc+dmg.
the pet is a plus to raise the dmg and domination.
now, i dont know if i should just make a SO build or IO Build...

This character's been stuck in the mid 20's for several years now, but on paper it's a good build.
Throw down Ice Slick, jump into the middle of the patch with Arctic Air running, Block of Ice the boss, Glacier the mob when it's up, Ice Sword Circle regardless. I auto-fire Ice Bolt and use Ice Sword and Ice Blast as my main ST damage dealers. I'm looking forward to adding Ice Slash and Bitter Ice Blast as better ST attacks.
Really looking forward to the end-game when I can Ice Patch+Sleet+Ice Storm, jump into the middle with Arctic Air+Chilling Embrace and let loose with Ice Sword Circle while Jack adds to the Icy chaos.
This style/attack chain doesn't build Domination quickly and I've found it to be hard on the my endurance bar, so I've slotted heavily for end reduction.

i like this build :D
but i won't get the leadership pool, and to stick to the original vilain powers, i'll change the anciliary cold mastery to ghost widow mastery.
and instead leadership, i'll get shivers and frost breath, just to increase dmg and -vit -rch
super speed ain't interesting to me, i'll eventually get stealth instead...
but i'm still around lvl 30 so far, so i don't know yet if i'll go to PvP with it, or stick to PvE (Vigilance is not well known for PvP ^^)
anyway, i may try your build on the test server to see its efficiency.
