Title: Infobox Tip
Post by: Sekoia on December 22, 2011, 10:05:14 PM
I just created a new infobox for tip missions:
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Template:Infobox_Tip

And here's an example of a page using it:
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Mission:Tip_-_A_Pair_of_Broken_Six_Sided_Dice

Notably:

- It displays an infobox with all the pertinent meta information about the mission: who can get it and at what levels, where they can get it, what choices it gives them, and what kind of mission it is.
- It categorizes the article in the appropriate category, provides the fields are all correct.
- It's transclusion friendly, in that it only operates in the Mission namespace. Note how I transcluded it on my user page (http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Sekoia/Sandbox/Five) and it doesn't show the infobox and doesn't show the categories.
- The same infobox can be used on all tips: alignment, morality, and event.

I was prompted to create this infobox because I hated seeing level ranges in the mission name header, as on http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Mission:Tip_-_Rikti_Artifact_Rumors. I understand why it was done that way, but I think an infobox is a better way to present that info and lets us show additional info besides.

Any feedback before this gets deployed?

EDIT: It also automatically drops the first six characters (which should always be "Tip - ") from the article name for category sorting purposes.

I put "Tip Mission" inside the box. (I think that may have also changed the font size, but I'm not sure.)

The font sizes are all standardized for the infobox and match what's used elsewhere on the wiki. I personally am wary of changing the font sizes because then we'd be inconsistent with other infoboxes elsewhere.

Seems like a very good addition to the tip missions.
