Title: #SaveCoH Press Kit?
Post by: Des_Tructive on September 13, 2012, 08:33:46 AM
Soo... I'll be working at the Frankfurt book fair this year, again, which also hosts the "Fascination Comic" fair. (http://book-fair.com/en/fbf/topics/comics/ (http://book-fair.com/en/fbf/topics/comics/))

I was thinking about printing and laying out some flyers for #SaveCoH there, and in our local comic stores. That being said, the missus also has some links to the german comic industry she wants to utilize.

While I can easily make the flyers myself (design background), I was wondering if there was any official-ish text for the press I could translate to german and use. Most of the people in marketing want something short and sweet to get their teeth into. Something detailing the gist of the cause and why people (especially the marketing department) should care.

That being said... I only registered to titan so we could join the effort in a more direct manner  :)

This is what I've been suggesting for flier and banners.  Feel free to shorten it; you can cut out the whole second paragraph if you put a QR code on the flier.

Help save our city!

The players of City of Heroes have invested eight years in the friendships and stories of Paragon City. Although the town is fictional, the community is very real, and is about to be dissolved by NCSoft. Please, help us convince NCSoft to change their mind or release or sell City of Heroes, so we can keep telling some of the greatest superhero stories around!

Please show your support by signing our petition at http://bit.ly/savecoh, and follow the #SaveCoH tag on twitter to see other ways you can help out. Even something as small as clicking "like" or "retweet" on City of Heroes-related stories will help us show NCSoft how important this is to us.

We've been saving our city for eight years, but now we need YOU to help us save it again.
