Atlas Park Parade

I used CIT before they even joined the Titan network! But then I left for a long ol' time, and came back. Now I edit the wiki.

When the game comes back, it'd be awesome to have a parade 'round Atlas on ever server in celebration!

I was going to post on here, but not real good with forums. I know a lot of demo recorders are on here as well, as I did do a lot of research on these forums. I do have a request though from the community. A lot of NPC lists are really old. Can some one rip them from the pig files or something and make a current list of NPC, MOVs and other things used in demorecording?

Glad everyone likes the video, that what I was hoping for. I have some other ideas, but I will have to carve out a lot of time before I start another one. If anyone has some ideas, I will add more fodder to the belfry.

I would check in the Icon and Demo Recording forums: http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php/board,174.0.html & http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index.php/board,167.0.html . The Icon forum has several stickies at the top that are for downloadable menus of NPCs and MOVs. I suspect asking in there for the authors to release the list of those items would be helpful. There is a list of MOVs at the wiki: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Demo_Editing/List_of_MOVs But I don't know how accurate it is.

Very cool!

That was the tough part from a finishing standpoint. The simple answer is yes, they all pile up inside the building on the other side of the intersection. The big problem for me was visscale. My initial testing was nice, The police cars appeared just before the main roadway, and they vanished just before the intersection if I had the player camera set to the middle of the park. The problem is not all models have the same visscale. The drones for example have a visscale of 200 feet, but the police cars have 400 feet, and the helicopters can be seen from across the map. To solve the problem, I changed the player tag to different spots depending on what the focus was. I could have finished them off by half turning north and the other half turning south and parking on the next street, but that was going to add a lot more code. (over 2 million lines as it is now) It was a lot easier to creatively avoid showing what the end looks like. Unfortunately there was some cool shots at the end, but it also showed the mess at the end as well.
