I was recently reminded...
« on: August 19, 2014, 03:53:36 AM »
of how much HP an AV regenerates, about 95 HP/sec at level 50.

Keeping that in mind, I decided to try something in mids for a tanker. I was only running for HP/sec regained and it's an extreme example.
This is not even close to a final build as I never looked at damage/acc/rech or any other facet other than heal/sec gained.

That being said how does 407.8 HP/Sec regained sound? To put it another way, that's 2500% regen with 3419 HP in the tank... so to speak. I  also added in the HP/Sec gained from spamming Siphon Life.

This is a Bio/DM tank.

I don't know of a character in the game that can achieve those kinds of numbers except possibly a regen/DM tank. and they don't have access to all of the other types of mitigation that this combo has. To list them briefly it has -tohit, -Dam, Absorb, -Regen, Defense, Resists and Fear.

Thought someone might want to take a look at this partial build just to see the numbers. I thought it was very strange.

I have found that I can make any tank pretty darn near impossible to kill under regular circumstances and even some pretty serious ones..

true enough. I was just playin around and saw those numbers and was quite surprised. Particularly self capping regen on a tanker.

does that count for fire tanks? I heard they were abit more squishy when compared to the other primary defense powers.
One day the Phoenix will rise again.

Never saw you're response here so sorry for the lateness.

Yes, even a fire/ tank can be made really resilient with IO builds. You can get significant defenses (near capped s/l) to add to good resists and the self heal can be up ridiculously fast.

Did a quick look in the old forums and saw this build by LSK which can show you what's possible... but I would have put in RotP in the build personally.

Was Bio live at shutdown?

The consensus is that it was not.  Honesty I wasn't sure myself.

I spent a lot of time on test at the end with a bio/ice tank with the sorcery pp that was pretty good.
