It's alright.  It has an odd rotoscoped quality that makes it feel more like Heavy Metal than anime.  The soundtrack just adds to the effect.

Hm.  Anakin got hold of the green orb.  Now everything makes sense...

I agree, I too think that the heavy metal music added that special effect to it.
