Design Notes:
And now for something completely different.  After all of my control-focused builds, here's an actual melee-focused build.  As per usual, Hasten was avoided as I just don't like the look of it.

Just glanced at it but offhand I'd say substitute poison dart for strike (-regen ftw) and follow up or build up for something. The former if you want it to play more like a clawls scrapper, the latter more like a stalker which looks to be the direction you're going with placate and smoke grenade. I'll look in depth later on.

I thought this one might interest you, from your remarks on my Fortunata build.  Yes, I envisioned this one to be like a Claws Stalker.

And yes, if this is to be Stalker-like, I probably should find a way to take Build Up, probably around the time I gain Mask Presence.  Hmmm...

Easy enough to slide build up with 2 recharge in where you have elude (not sure why you'd need elude if you're already softcapped other than maybe incarnate stuff, but there should be enough barriers around on an inc trial to cover the softcap difference). Use the other two slots from elude to add the final 2 gaussians to tactical training leadership for the 2.5% defense and your ranged/aoe softcaps. Then replace the LotG def/rech in mind link with the 5th 5% recharge one that you had in elude (no stat loss there) and Bob's your uncle. I'd still switch poison dart with 5 decimation in for strike though if it were me. Oh and you can take all three of those pricey membranes out of mind link and still have it perma and your softcaps. That'd give you slots for e.g. a miracle proc in health and an extra damage proc in swipe and spin.

Here's my absurdly expensive one that I want just for Silver Mantis soloing/merit whoaring if you're interested. And yes, I do see the irony that the most expensive merit-wise toon would be the one I want to make for merit whoaring. Though unless the market is generously seeded if/when the game returns I expect it won't be that much worse than any other IO build  ;)

 You do realize that in Issue 24 you would have had the ability to turn off the Hasten effects ??

Except that the server image talk was tacked on by ncsoft to the attempt to acquire the license, so if we get the former it probably means they got the latter and that an i24 enabled atlas park revival would eventually emerge. But of course that'd be a good excuse to rebuild everything in mids anyway :D

I don't see how we could do that without the source code, which, last I heard, NCSoft said was off the table in the negotiations.

I only know what I've read in the new efforts and the other big thread. The techie types seem pretty confident that Irish Girl can do it. My tech knowledge would be pretty much confined to renaming the folder the program was in to i24.

I only know what I've read in the new efforts and the other big thread. The techie types seem pretty confident that Irish Girl can do it. My tech knowledge would be pretty much confined to renaming the folder the program was in to i24.
Ah, you're talking about the CoH Atlas Park Revival re-creation project, using a different game engine and coded from scratch.  As for the game as-was, we'd need the source code for that, and it's too bad we won't be getting it - we have enough people on-board (Arcana, Codewalker, Leandro) who would be able to finish/debug I24, which would be awesome if we could get it.
