Investing in (and part-owning) a game to keep it alive?

The real meat of the discussion: FIG! http://www.polygon.com/2015/8/18/9169697/fig-kickstarter-equity-investment-games-outer-wilds-masi-oka

Now, why does this matter to us? I can support a game somewhat with a lifetime subscription or monthly fees, but it can still be shut down when its owners get into trouble, try to impress investors, or a million other reasons. I would much rather pay to be a part-owner so I can have a more direct influence on making sure it is never shut down, continues to be improved and to have new content.

I think there are enough people in THIS community who might want a part ownership of CoH 1.5, 2.0, any of the Plan Z efforts, or even the i23 maintenance mode options now being negotiated.

How the heck can we organize this?!? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
