CodeWalker, I've tried lowering the permissions in order to allow this app through, but nothing is working. What is triggering my AV? Also, any suggestions?

Regardless, THANKS FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE! YEW RAWK \m/ \m/

Probably being triggered because (1) it can update itself and (2) it's not on the 'approved' list of common software they have on file.

Add a whitelist entry and/or submit it as a false positive and tell them to not write bad software.

About Bit Defender-- I know this post is older, but I didn't see it until now.

I used to have BD - and it wouldn't let me play CoH! I had to jump through many hoops to get both to work, and even then, my system might crash - and I knew it was because of Bit Defender, as it was the only new software I had installed since the crashes began occurring at random.

I uninstalled it once I got Norton and haven't had a problem since.
