You should be able to get softcapped to all positions without scorpion shield which would let you take one of the resist shields for that much more toughness. only other thing is if you could find 3 powers to get rid of to make room for phase shift for trip mining hilarity. I'd suggest assault, triage beacon and bitter freeze ray if you wanted to go that direction.

That would be great but it would only allow 2 mines before phase toggles off.assault and triage are on all the time so that was
why I went with those.Phase Shift does give me an idea for another power though thanks :)

Mine looks like this. But I see your point, the extra defense is only really needed in Incarnate level stuff or if you know there is a -Defense group coming.
