Rad/Poison/Elec build
« on: September 07, 2015, 10:53:16 PM »
I used Mids to make the below build as a spoof. Let me know what you think or what Ancillary you would take instead. Cheers,

The above post's build gives me soft capped def from En/Neg, decent (39%) Def against range, and I still have 3 slots to place still. Please give any criticism you feel would be helpful on the Rad/Poison aspect of the build (Elec Ancillary was a forethought, not married to it).

I'd recommend switching in neutrino bolt for x-ray beam, better dps and cast time. Also I'd consider taking neurotoxic breath instead of acrobatics or something. Can get most if not all of a mob with it and it's a good debuff, especially in combo with the others.

yeah bolt is slightly better but I gotta have my Eye Beams. Flavor choice really. Never like slow moves like Neuro Breath, did you find it helpful? Problem I had was it would get major agro and even though it lowered their Recharge/speed, they still had more than enough powers to que up once I got their attention. Would have rather it be a ToHit Debuff move. But thanks for the ideas.

i liked neuro. Aggroing them with it wouldn't be an issue for me as i'd have already fired off weaken and envenom first. Neuro was pretty essential back when poison was crap before they made those powers aoe. It became less essential after but still useful.

Just take a look at your de-buffs if you apply Power Boost from the Soul line. That is reason alone for taking a close look at Soul to finish off a Poison character.  PBU works too but not up as often.

Cogito, Ergo... eh?

I never knew that Power Boost and PBU had different RC times, good to know. I will check into it, as I always liked the Soul set's look anyway.

Could also be a very nice pvp character. all those de-buffs would cripple defenses in a hurry.
