poison would be fine. it's a little busy but you might want that since high end illusion can be a bit dull. can't speak to nature but the debuffs and buffs would work well.

/cold and /time are beasts as well. unfortunately trollers never got /traps 'cause that would be hilarious to play.

Thought of storm too after I posted. Can't do Cold though, no extra control moves to help me with containment.

I didnt see that many Illusion/Dark and its a very awesome build..

I would suspect Illusion/Time would be very strong as well. The recharge bonus from Chrono shift would be a huge help..

Had a buddy with an Illusion/Storm called Spectral Nimbus.. It was quite good..

Illusion/Storm/Leviathan gave me Phantom Army,Spectral Terror,Phantasm,Snow Storm,Freezing Rain,Hurricane,Tornado(with the KD io)Lightning Storm,Water Spout and a Coralax.You could tank,
be invisible, confuse and hold.My Earth Storm gave me more debuff, holds and slows but PA is so
nice to have.Illusion/Rad can get perma PA without purples or Incarnate and so can Time.I did have
a Illusion/Cold that with almost perma PA + Sleet + Ice Storm was great for teams.I never did run
it solo and there were always others with holds.

I like what you did there. I was gonna suggest you move the last Troller IO set piece back down to get the +5% def to Range, but I like it in the single target hold damaging power. Since that is (for the longest time) the only one of two attack powers you have, having it do max damage like you did is a pretty impressive idea. Also, epic slotting for PA, love the massive recharge you got on it.

I had a possible glitch on my Mids builder though. It appears that the Agility incarnate buff had no effect on phantom army's recharge time? Any thoughts on what that glitch is about?

Check out my build for ILL Time Leviathan below. Any suggestions are welcome.

I think you should have the AOE heal cause I kinda feel like those powers are necessities. I'm not really sure what you could drop for it though.  You can probably move a slot from Weave somewhere else if you want to help out another power.  Other than that it looks pretty awesome and well rounded.

I made 2 Illusion/Time builds in the controller section that have no ATO,purple or Incarnate added in if you want to see what you can do with just set io's.

I'm just sad I didn't realize how well Clarion Radial Epiphany worked with Time until now. Not only do you get mez protection, you also get +7.5% defense to everything due to the +Special buff working with Farsight. Could you imagine a Fire/Time/Dark corr with that? Tons of damage, defense, mez protection, and permanent Soul Drain with Dark Consumption to keep your endurance up.

Edit: This build is what I mean, softcapped to ranged with Clarion+Farsight and anything that doesn't deal ranged damage gets hit by a ToHit debuff (Time's Juncture) which floors its accuracy.

Ill/Time/Fire is great also, but the low AoE damage for controllers is a bit of an issue for me even with Fireball.

Dam man, that Clarion plus your Alpha slot was pretty much made for that type of toon! I like what you did but changed it up a bit (LOTS of bright PURPLES in my build :P). Got rid of Flares because with the recharge you now have on Fire Blast, you can spam it (and after adding the chance of Build up Proc in it, why wouldn't you spam it). Since Flares is gone, I grabbed you AIM as it now recharges fast and gives you quite a bit of a ToHit buff and a decent damage spike to your attacks for 10 seconds. Plus, who doesn't like hitting AIM or Build Up and unleashing unholy hell with all those AoE/PBAoEs you got (I would definitely use it before doing Soul Drain and/or Dark Consumption myself). Let me know what you think.

Flares is part of my attack chain. Blaze->Fire Blast->Flares is much better than Fire Blast -> Blaze -> Fire Blast -> 1 second of doing noting.

Aim isn't needed when my accuracy and damage bonuses are pretty high already. Even without Clarion increasing the ToHit buff on Farsight, I can hit +4 mobs with every power. Plus, the time it takes to cast Aim combined with the diminishing returns I get on damage buffs due to Soul Drain and set bonuses makes it useless against AV's and only marginally useful for AoE's.

As for the build you posted, there's a lot of unnecessary slotting in there. Think about what you're trying to get and cut out the stuff in the way. Here are some goals to set for building:

1. Enough recharge to perma Hasten, Soul Drain, and Chrono Shift.
2. Enough recharge for your attack chain.
3. Softcapped defenses.
4. Endurance stability.
5. Damage bonuses.
6. Getting the most out of your powers (for example, 2-slotting temporal mending and temporal selection doesn't utilize them very well).

Why would there be downtime between your attack chain in my build? Doesn't the recharge time start upon activation or does it wait until after casting time?

After looking at your build, I realized I thought my recovery was much better but that was because I had the Accolades for +End+HP all highlighted whereas you did not. Your recovery is much better. And I suppose melee defense isn't very necessary as by the time they get in melee range, your time juncture has debuffed their ToHit by a huge amount.

Now I am curious what an Ice/Time/Dark would be capable of, I always liked ice's range nuke, and getting a massive ToHit/Dmg buff from Dark and Time would really make Ice Storm and Blizzard hit real hard.

Recharge timer starts after cast time.

Ice's damage is inferior to Fire in both AoE and single target damage. Where Ice Blast shines is in its recharge debuffs, holds (but Time has a boss-level hold already in Time Crawl+Time Stop) and its Nuke (this build runs 5 toggles, it'd be kind of annoying having to turn them back on every time).

Yeah, I see that. Dam, must have remembered when the recharge clock started.

I never worried about having to reset all the toggs though. If everything is melting and I needed to pop a blue anyways, what's the harm in resetting the toggles again. Plus, with all the click buffs from Time, Dark Epic and Clarion, I still got lots of protection coming my way. And I never trusted the aoe holds from Distortion field to always hit. Wasn't it a chance of hold? I knew it got buffed if you debuffed them with the first power in Time's set. Was it really that reliable? And, while Ice's main powers were less than Fire's for dmg, especially AoE dmg, you got a ton of soft controls with Ice. Recharge debuffs all over the place, same with slows and such. Made the bad guys dam near crawl anywhere they wanted to go. Only thing I wish I had was a decent pet, but Lore Pets count so that would be so sweet to add one that did huge damage to the mix.

Having multiple ways to hold a single target was one of the reasons I like my Dark/Ice Defender. Not sure how well that combo works with corruptors though. I don't think I ever tried it as a Corruptor because the buffs/debuffs were less. But with Clarion buffing the beejeezus out of my powers, a Corruptor might be pretty dam cool.

Hey Auroxis, what do you do for the 30 seconds Clarion is down? Just trying to make sure I am prepared for it falling off my toons. I assume you would pop a purple and a breakfree to keep the defenses and mez protection up.

I was reading the other forum and always wanted another Illusion Troller but don't want the typical /dark, /rad, or /kin secondaries. Any thoughts to Poison or Nature Affinity for a decent secondary?

Poison works great for Illusion, better than for most primaries. You get an every-spawn control power that sets up Containment (Poison Gas Trap), and can also be set up with IOs for AoE damage. Illusion lacks both AoE damage and AoE Containment to leverage epic pool AoEs. Illusion is solid enough at lower levels to make up for Poison's low-level weaknesses. All in all, while I wouldn't call it a top build overall, Illusion is one of the better picks for /Poison, and /Poison is probably the best pick for Illusion other than the ones that give +Recharge so you can have perma-PA more easily.

Between the soft capped defenses and 75% uptime of mez protection, you could probably do with just a few break frees for most content.

Nice. Kinda what I figured. Wonder why I never grabbed Clarion when the game was on? I know I toyed with the Barrier and the team heal one a few times. Thing is, I usually play toons that buff/debuff. Love my Trollers/Defenders/MMs/even Corruptors although I don't think any of my MMs got farther than the Alpha slot. Shame, always liked my henchmen.

Also flares has better dps/dpe/dpa than fire blast.

Oh and Brothermutant if you're worried about clarion going down, take core. You lose the range buff but get full 120s mez.
