CoX-Inspired Debut Novel releasing in July (Angry Robot Books)
« on: February 22, 2016, 07:43:36 PM »
Edmund Templeton is the Hour Thief, a debonair 1940s-era mystery man who has been thirty-five for seventy years.

Istvan Czernin is the ghost of an Austro-Hungarian surgeon merged with the terrible power of the First World War.

It's 2020.

Eight years earlier, a magical cataclysm shattered reality as we know it. Edmund and Istvan are the most powerful agents of the wizard's cabal that now governs the US East Coast, and have been assigned to hunt down an arms smuggling ring that could blow up Massachusetts.

What they find is a shadow war waged since the breaking of the world.

Caught between two inhuman forces, torn between love and loyalty, and betrayed by their own memories, the two friends must rely on each other to overcome a foe that offers perfect happiness... and who will take their minds apart if they don't accept.

THE INTERMINABLES

COMING JULY 5, 2016

So yeah, this happened. I posted here briefly in 2013 about the start of this project and then disappeared for a few years and during that time I acquired a literary agent (the wonderful Sara Megibow of KT Literary) and a publisher (Angry Robot, in the UK).The Interminables will be released in at least the US, UK, and other English-speaking countries, in both physical and electronic form. I'm finishing up the final editorial revision now and then I start on the sequel!

Well done!

You have now accomplished what 95% of those who say they want to write, never do.  You finished a book and got it into publication!
I will go down with this ship.  I won't put my hands up in surrender.  There will be no white flag above my door.  I'm in love, and always will be.  Dido

I finished pre-ordering a Kindle copy.

I'm always amused by Amazon's disclaimer -- "This price was set by the publisher".

\o/  Thank you!

And yeah, I dunno-- I certainly didn't set the price (though I got to have some input on the cover design and I'm told the results will be revealed within the next two weeks or so).
