Let's have some fun. I thought I would present some of my characters and stories as comic book series, just in case anyone might find them interesting and want to RP. In no particular order:

Starlight Theatre (X-Men level heroes)

Characters: Quantum Uncertainty (Dr. Belinda Heisenberg), Test of Might (Mac Sullivan), Aerialist (Julie Sterling), Queen of Spades (Romana Maltese), Dapper Diamond (Jasper Barnum)

Recurring Guest Stars: Esoterra (@Sneek117), Bianca Miyamoto (@Sneek117), Obsidian Cheshire, Arcanaloth

Summary: Quantum physicist and illusionist Dr. Belinda Heisenberg leads the heroes of the Starlight Theatre performing troupe, as Quantum Uncertainty, against the powered gangs of Kings Row and the wicked wiles of the Carnival of Shadows. The group specializes in intervention and extraction of gang members, especially Carnies, but has a pedigree for kicking butts as well!

Recent Happenings: A nearly-fatal injury at the hands of an evil alternate-universe double has taken away Q's powers. Q has been replaced in the troupe's performances by Esoterra, an illusionist wizard. Dapper Diamond has taken a friendly interest in the progress of Joanne Ridges (@PoeticSoul) in learning shadow magic from Cheet (@Sneek117). Aerialist has begun to notice a few of the players in her neighborhood basketball league exhibiting signs of trouble at home and suspects something is happening. Test of Might, her adoptive father, doesn't say much, but he's always there -- almost as if he's seen what's going on before she has. And now, Queen of Spades has noticed Q spending a great deal more time at her scientific job, which wouldn't be a worry, if Romana hadn't seen Belinda spending time conversing, and arguing, with a wizard with a bad -- and possibly infernal -- reputation named Valerie Aldridge...

Heaven's Dove (Teen Titans-level magic hero)

Characters: Dove (aka Dani / Danyael)

Recurring Guest Stars: Cheet, Joanne Ridges

Summary: Danyael is one of the nephilim, the child of a human woman and the Archangel of Healing, Raphael. Long hidden and sheltered from those who would seek to destroy her in accordance with an ancient divine ban, Dani was brought to Paragon City to hide among the riot of powers there when hunters got too close to her original haven. Now, she must contend with a world in pain that cries out for healing, as well as her own burgeoning human emotions.

Recent Happenings: Dani's story came to an abrupt end. Murdered by the insane Reverend Brimstone (@Sneek117) at the... urging... of an unknown angel, her head was delivered to Cheet to put the shadow mage on notice. Now, Dani's final fate is unknown. As a nephil, she was an angel as well as a human, and it's very difficult to permanently destroy such a divine entity. But if Dani isn't truly dead, then what happened to her? And is Dr. Belinda Heisenberg's recent foray into celestial and infernal lore in any way related?

Here's a new one. A one-shot NPC returned for a longer guest appearance, which has turned into at least his own limited series!

Special Delivery (Street-level antihero)

Characters: Special Delivery (Billy Chambers)

Recurring Guest Stars: Joanne Ridges (@poetic soul)

Summary: Ex-Skull Billy Chambers is a transporter. For a fee, he'll carry a package for you, no names, no questions asked -- just like that guy in the movies. The difference is, Billy moves on the dirty side of town, moving among the gangs and thugs, a shadow that none of them hate enough to try to kill -- most of the time.

Recent Happenings: Things got nasty the day a crazed preacher hired Billy to deliver a small box to a strange individual named Cheet (@Sneek117) in the Pocket D. Billy took the job and didn't ask what he was delivering. Maybe he should have... because that box contained the head of Danyael, nephil and close friend to Cheet and Joanne Ridges. And then the Preacher Man showed up again and threatened Billy's life. In dealing with that mess, Billy has come to know Joanne a bit better -- and he has learned that he is tangentially involved in an incident that forever altered Joanne's life. Seven years ago, a crew of Skulls broke into Joanne's mother's apartment in the Gish and killed her. The break-and-enter activities of Billy's own crew, knocking over pawn shops and jewelry stores, kept the police so busy that they never even investigated the death. Now Billy wants to help Joanne get some payback, and he's about to dive into his own past to track down the leader of the bloody crew that got away with murder.
