Microsoft Question
« on: August 09, 2016, 09:21:38 AM »
The scene:
  • Win10 (recently upgraded from Win7)
  • Outlook 2007
  • IE 11

The problem:
While most URLs received in Outlook messages launch IE11 successfully, since upgrading to Win10 any URLs that are vaguely security-related (e.g. click here to go to the change password screen, click here to book your approved stay with Airbnb) don't take me to the correct page.  They start up IE11, but go to some other page, such as the previous one I was viewing or my profile page.  If I copy the URL and go to Chrome, the links work.

The question:
Any suggestions to make this work without making substitutions to elements in The Scene as delineated above?

Thanks very much.

Might be Windows 'Smart Screen' hijacking you.
