Anyone know of any games that have masterminds?

I'm really missing having all my pets fight for me.

Standing back and watching the carnage without having to lift a finger. (Maybe sometimes when things go south.)

Does anyone know of any kind of game that has something like that? Anything at all?

Let me know if you do please, I've never been able to find anything like a mastermind and his/her pets.

The older pc game Overlord is pretty fun for a while. But it's single player and basically release minions and watch. Were a couple of sequels too but I've yet to play them.

Necromancers in Diablo II (haven't played III yet) can be played like that. Particularly the part about merely watching, because you can't give orders to your pets. I do remember them as feeling similar to Masterminds.
