Viewing indoor maps from above
« on: April 22, 2017, 10:49:51 AM »
Hey guys!

I've been using, to a great success, titan icon as a means of playing tabletop games by snapping pictures of the maps!

However, I've never been able to figure out how to get a birds eye view of indoor maps so I can use those as well. Basically what happens is if I noclip or move the camera too far away from the room I want to view, it cuts to full black. I'm wondering if there's either: A way around this or a way to view the maps another way.

I know this is a strange question but thanks to any of you who know the answer!

EDIT: Never mind, found my old thread hehe and didn't even realize I had one! Please delete this post thank you~

Realized I posted this in the wrong forum hehe (It's a bit late)

Can this please be moved to the Icon forum? Thank you!

Pressing F4 (or typing /map_dev) will show normally hidden developer markers most likely used as part of the map editing process. Neighborhood volumes, spawn points, etc. More importantly, it also makes indoor sections (which are normally invisible when you're not inside them) show up, so they're easier to find in no-clip mode. Pressing F4 again turns it off.
