(Click either picture to enlarginate.)Group Costume Contest - MULTI-INSTANCE AND MULTI-GLOBAL - We're hosting the first group costume contest in HERC at the Summer Block Party! How it works:
First, the most important: there IS NO THEME. You determine what the theme of your group is and make the costumes. As long as the theme is coherent and clearly understood, you have a shot at winning. Possibilities (this is NOT exhaustive):
- Superhero/Villain Group
- Favorite TV/Movie Cast
- Literary Fiction Cast (Comic Book, Novel, etc.)
- Historic Figures
Again, those are ideas, NOT themes. It can be anything you want, with one exception:
NO CITY OF HEROES IP. Why? It's too easy for a DB Edit user to hack in the Freedom Phalanx, Arachnos Leadership, Praetorian City Hall, or other built-in NPC groups. Come up with your own original costumes for this one.
You can enter in one of two ways - As a multiple-instance user: This allows you to enter a team of multiple heroes and toons into the contest! No other teammates required. Your only limit is your hardware capability to spawn instances without running out of RAM.
As a multiple-global team: Work with your friends in Paragon Chat and make a group team! For this contest, at least two different global names must be in the team. Bear in mind, you CAN use multiple instances with multiple-global users.
When in doubt, enter as a multiple-global team.
Finally, we define a group costume as
more than one toon entered. That enables duos, trios, or any number higher than that.
Because of the group contest, this is 12 day's notice to get a team together, so let's see what you can do!
