Agents of SHIELD season holy heck
« on: December 02, 2017, 02:23:56 PM »
No time to watch part 2 of the beginning of this season yet, but I'm currently blaming Fitz for Earth.
When you insult someone by calling them a "pig" or a "dog" you aren't maligning pigs and dogs everywhere.  The same is true of any term used as an insult.

Well looks like someone else did it. But the real question is how the heck did it happen?

And I assume in later episodes we see Fitz's side of what happened.

I really liked the humor in the first two episodes.

Can't believe I actually half liked those eps. But maybe I was just seduced by the Talking Heads intro.

Spoiler for Hidden:
It's gonna turn out Daisy started talking to the Earth and it blew itself apart.

Oh no.  Must be watching them too fast... or not fast enough.  ;)

I haven't watched since middle of second season.   I didn't like her then, still don't like her now.

Too bad all the cast changes didn't get rid of her.

Yeah something's off somewhere :D Though the first episode was definitely better than the second so maybe by ep 3 or 4 it'll be back to full on loathing.

You don't like Daisy? Why not?

Can't speak for GamingGlen but I can't stand her because every episode has to have a 'Daisy corners someone to talk about their feelings' conversation. I think initially it was that they didn't really have anything for her to do between being the newbie stand-in for the viewer and getting her powers so they stuck those scenes in. Then it became a really annoying habit, especially as the conversations were usually really contrived. And they kept it going even after she got her powers and had enough other things to do.

Oh and they just announced a new cartoon with Quake in it so I'll get to hate her even more often.

Jemma is driving me crazy. She infiltrated Hydra as an agent and had no problem hiding her identity despite all the evil things they were doing around her.   Now she is acting like a complete ditz and overreacting to every little thing.  They are using her as a Fitz substitute since he is usually the one who lets his emotions overcome rationality.

Yeah, I'm not real keen on Jemma's current arc.  Among other things, it just seems so disconnected.  And that gold makeup is awful.

I'm still not used to the new Friday time slot. I'm glad there's a week off so I can catch up.

These Kree seem really dumb for a highly advanced race. I hope the Supreme Intelligence has some sort of vetting system like a "you must be this smart to become part of your race's collected intellect" sign or something.

The disjointed nature of The Last Day was annoying, but old Robin's death may have moistened an eye.

I wasn't getting the flashbacks. It seemed some survived by 2020 and were up on the lighthouse and the Kree were in charge.

Was this supposed to be the original timeline if they weren't taken to the future? But in one scene Fitz mentions Daisy already saw the result of her actions so it seemed like this was after they came back from the future. But if that's the case they should have already known about the time machine since they saw it in the future and used it to get back.

But here it looked like he was having trouble building it.

Glad it wasn't just me thinking they needed to put a date stamp on some of those scenes.

They did - one said 2018 and one said 2020 or 2024. But again, did this happen after they came back or in a timeline where they weren't taken to the future?

Otherwise if it was after they should already know what is going to happen.
