I'm actually going to wait till all 3 episodes have been broadcast before watching this year.

Every year the CW makes better Justice League movies than the DCEU version.

Doesn't seem to have the same "interesting" level as Earth-X did. But okay.

Hmm... hey! There was no daughter thing on Flash. Yay!

Doing the same thing. Trying not to read any spoilers - and since its three days in a row, its not hard to wait.

I still say they should let these guys make the DC films - they are much better.

Last years crossover was way better then the JLA film.

Is it me or do these feel like they got real writers to do half the episode then let the regular writers do the second draft? If you cut out the usual stupid conversations these'd be quite good.
Spoiler for Hidden:
Though Batwoman was pretty bad. Granted there's not a whole lot to go on from the comics but they pretty much just wrote her as grumpy Bruce. And the Psycho Pirate (who i thought was Killer Moth before I googled. cuz, y'know it looked more like his mask and it'd make sense for him to be in Arkham) inmates running the asylum line was just awful.

If I recall correctly, Psycho-Pirate was driven insane by his pre-crisis memories.  How that plays into the Arrowverse I don't know as I'm waiting for all three parts of Elseworlds to be available on the CW streaming app.

I enjoyed her, but despite her appearance on a roof beforehand when she showed up at the Wayne building I thought it was a young man who was going to be Damien Wayne.  The world's finest bit was a little too cute.

I thought Killer Moth wore a helmet with big moth eyes and an antenna thingie.  I figured it was Psycho Pirate, but then he apparently ended up a throwaway reference.  I'm assuming we won't get much context for Eradicator, either.

Kara says Clark is frenermies with Bruce/Batman. So does that mean somehow Supes from E38 has been teaming with Bats from E1 over 3 years ago or was she talking about a Batman on her Earth 38.

Wasn't totally wowed with Batwoman, but to be honest she didn't get to do much.

I assumed she meant on her Earth.

The cheesy things I happily accept in the Christopher Reeves Superman movies made me groan and smile like a terrible dad joke when they used them in that episode.

I kinda hope the Crisis brings Supergirl's universe wholly into Earth 1.

Possible if they do it the way it is in the comics - the assumption was after Flashpoint and Supergirl moving to the CW this might happen, but Supergirl still had her own Earth.

The fight had more than a few nods to Superman II - that guy makes an excellent Superman. Too bad he is being sidelined for a while.

I thought so too. Don't really watch Supergirl except for these crossovers so didn't know if they had a Batman there.

Hopefully we will see a Batman (Batmen?) next year.

At the end of episode 2, or so it appeared to me.  Once episode 3 popped up it proved to be a visual reference at best.  "At best" because this is from my own fuzzy recollection of the death and return of Superman in the comics.

I pegged it right away - made as much sense as anything else.

Though I thought they said there was only 53 Earths - 52 that count with the 53rd being the Nazi one that no one counts.

Could be 52 with gaps in the numbering, or only 53 known universes, or they're retconning it to an infinite number until after crisis, or they figured no one would remember, or they didn't remember, or they don't care. Really since they've been planning crisis since at least the first season of Flash they should've had all this straight, but I think jokey lines (the 53rd) and easter eggs (earth 90) will trump continuity with them every time.

This'll probably come as no surprise to anyone familiar with The Flash.

Barry talked about traveling around the world "at just over Mach 7". According to Wikipedia, at 20 degrees Celsius, the speed of sound is 767 MPH. At seven times that (5,369 MPH), they'd take about half an hour to cross the continental United States from east to west (or vice versa). They would emphatically NOT be circling the globe several times per second, as they were toward the end.

I dunno. Maybe on Earth 1 the Mach scale is like the Richter scale.

I loved a few of the easter eggs.  The two that really worked for me were

The Smallville theme and set when they went to the Kent farm.  And 90 Flash recognizing John as John Stewart.

Even if we fudge it and assume he meant mach 70 that's still just over twice around per hour.  If we assume he meant 7% C I think that works out to once every 3-4 seconds.

I do have to admit, though, that any excuse that they want to use to bring Barry, Kara, and Oliver together is fine with me. Those three are a lot of fun when they get together, which is all too infrequent.

It is fun, but I'm not sure I could take more than once per season. It already kinda sucks to take a week break from the normal season plots.

Specifically, what I mean is like the conversations on the front porch and on the rooftops. They come across as being very comfortable with each other, and I enjoy their interactions when they're together (and that's often when Kara is at her most charming, in my opinion). And Kara and Barry definitely bring out a more-fun side of Oliver.

Watching YT reaction videos for the first part of the crossover, people kept asking, "Where did Barry get the motorcycle that he rode through the breach?" They universally overlook the similarly-obvious question, "Where did Barry get two remote-controlled crossbows?"!

Also, as a side note, when Superman - or Supergirl - piledrives someone/something into the ground, I call that a "Kryptonian burial", after Battletech's similar "Highlander burial".

But its Supergirl - should be Earth-58 really since her first appearance was in 1958.
