stuff I learned on PC - can I use it elsewhere?
« on: May 10, 2019, 06:56:53 PM »
Here on PC there was no frowning and in fact much encouragement and help with editing the costume db.

I didn't do a lot with it, barely scratched the tip of that iceberg but greatly admired what I saw others doing.

Is it possible to apply any of that in CoX in the now present I25 environment?

Is asking about it like asking about Fight Club?

I went looking for the db but couldn't find it. CodeWalker very sensibly and productively moved things around with PC.

Can anyone nudge me in the right direction?

The database for the live game resides in the servers themselves.  You won't be able to edit a local database to give yourself costumes, powers or any perks on your computer... Well, not in a manner that anyone can see or hear except yourself.

It's not a secret exactly.  It's just not possible.
