A few ideas

Besides the desire for a Bikini contest, I'd like to see:

1) A way to set a default picture. This would be the picture displayed first when viewing a user's pictures (unless another image was clicked).
2) The ability to comment on your own images without having to approve them.
3) A tagging system.

I know we've discussed a lot of this internally, but I figured I'd post it here for the rest to see and voice their opinions on.

I would like to see this happen as well. Also, is there a way to change your username on cohfaces. I was having a blonde moment when I created mine and I would really like to change it.

Send Mav a PM request stating your Faces Username as it is, and what you would like it to be, he should be able to do it for you.

And wow....nice Thread Ressurection (seriously, no joking), I had long since forgotten about this Topic as we've implemented these items....as far as I am aware....?

Default picture doesn't exist

#2 exists now, Mav just put that in this week.

Faces is one of the Titan sites that just kinda "works" for the most part, which has the unfortunate side-effect of not getting a lot of attention in terms of new features and enhancements  

I think Faces could stand to use a nice set of overhauls once we get some more time. I know Mav has been wanting to give it more attention.

There'd be no real way to do that.  The Location field is an arbitrary text field, it's not like Faces stores zip or area codes.

I mean yeah you could maybe search for Florida or New York or something, but I guarantee you won't get the results you want.  There's no way to do proximity, and while I don't call the shots anymore, I wouldn't suggest adding that in.  Starts to border on stalkerish/creepy if you ask me.

100% Agreed.

You can always start-up comment or forums, "Hit me up if you are from BLAH!". Idk, but the automation of proximity is in my personal opinion a stretch and by proxy a violation of our user's privacy.

Sorry. If people want to make it public where they live... that's one thing, but Titan just isn't going to do that for you.

ISP monitor broke my computer (vista).

Plus the IP addresses some people use aren't exactly accurate.

I'm probably going to with the CoX map idea, though that name is going to send up red flags to safe-ware apps.
Cuz it looks too much like... ya you know.
