Administrator all the time?
« on: August 09, 2011, 01:46:15 PM »
If I don't run Mids as the admin then I get an error message that says, "A recently downloaded update has not yet been applied". Then it tells me to restart to apply the update. "The program will now close to apply the update". Which is doesn't do. It continues on uploading the program. Tells me to close all other running Mids instances. Then, "If this msg is in error, please delete the MHD.mhz file from the directory." But when I look for the file, it isn't there.

This has been going on for quite awhile now. At least 6 months. But since I've been able to open mids as an admin, I really haven't thought about asking this question. Can someone please help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance.

The only easy solution is to save Mids somewhere else than c:program files. I personally save everything in d:program files (my c drive is my OS drive and much smaller than my d drive, which I use for everything else).
