I've had Coldplay's Viva la Vida running through my head the last hour whilst playing CoH and a loose form of parody lyrics began forming. I'd love to make it (or some revised form of it) a youtube video, but I dont have the time and I can't sing very well. I'll post it here in case anyone else can do something with it or get ideas from it.
I used to save the world
Heroes united when I gave the word

Villains were terrified
When they saw my cape in the sky
Civilians would cheer my way
For a Hero I was, that's what they'd say
Wish I could have saved it all

My Incarnates were gone, I couldn't renew

'Rachnos, Hellions, Crey Corporations
And hope one day we can save this place
From the MMOKiller
Always built for solo-play
And that was when I saved the day

Told us we're done, we had to go
Forums posting at the speed of light
The worst villain we've had yet to fight
As criminals roamed with pride
Families crying at my side
Our world itself coming to an end
