Virtue Shut Down

Virtue just went dark, but none of the other servers did....odd.

While it's probably nothing, this was my first thought:

Also, hi! Consider this my signing up.

I'll admit I thought the same exact thing. They certainly got rid of AP33.
 And, welcome to the forums!

I was in the middle of a Safeguard, no less!  :(

AP33 could still be rezzed by a kind person on the inside.  It's my understanding that this is how AP33 persisted past weekly server maintenance downtimes anyway.

Keep up hope!

Hitstreak turns on AP33 for us again every week after maintenance. He said he would keep doing it till the end.

It came back up with a bit of a rollback. I was relieved I didn't lost the purple I had just won, otherwise I would have complained and demanded my money back....

Perhaps use Emperor Cole then?

Or Wesley Phipps... Yeah.  Him.  He's evil enough that he'd be the one to do it to watch others suffer.

Now, now. We here on the red team do not hate NCSoft. We just happen to think it unhealthy for our personal goals for our world to be destroyed. Our animosity towards them is not personal.

It's just business.  8)

Speak for yourself.
Some villains are cold businesspeople (NCsoft takes the cake in this), while others are full of RAGE and/or want to cause anarchy and anguish.

I suppose I can only speak for myself, yes.

And for my undead minions. When I want their opinions, I give them to them.

Well, it couldn't be Nemesis. He was trying to stop the Comming Storm.

Nemesis' goal is conquest. Not having a world left to own is not part of his business plan. :p
We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

Somewhere beyond time and space, if you look hard you might find a flash of silver trailing crimson: a lone lost Spartan on his way home.

I did lost my newly earned purple (Hecatomb: chance of negative energy damage) and as of yesterday my invention license expired and it ate my Paragon Points when I tried to renew it. I did get the Pop Dance emote, but my inventions are hosed. I'm bringing up my last 2 characters to 50, a 41 PB and a 42 ill/rad, so I had to switch to alternate builds and slap SO's on them.

Curses. I spent days hunting salvage/recipes to get them decked in the best (for the money) I could find and now I'm busted down to SO's.

If it ate your points rather than giving you what you paid for, that sounds like a customer service issue. Especially given the time crunch. I'd contact them.

Or you can outright file a Better Business Bureau complaint. Bonus score if they do not get around to it until the game's shutdown.  :D
