Wow, if that isn't a sign...I'm not sure what is....unless the Head of Walt Disney really has been grafted onto a mechanical arachnid body as that South Park episode...reported(!?)

Lol, I found it, ...... interesting.

Either there is a COH fan working in Imagineering (very likely)

or

It was required to shut down COH in order to build enough psychic energy to power a giant Oro portal in order to feed all the survivors into this Earth fractal.

or

One heck of a  interesting coincidence.  :P

I think we've officially gone into Midnighter territory now.

Just don't talk about the portal that is buried beneath Cinderella's Castle. We wouldn't want the CDA from the Monster realm coming here to purge us of all knowledge.

And... keeping in mind that half of us here are redsiders... why were you looking at Disney's hotel floor-plans? WHAT you up to...

Reading this, I was suddenly struck by a vision of a Star Tours-like ride through Paragon City and the Shadow Shard, with the riders encountering superhero battles -- perhaps Babbage in Skyway, Archon Burkholder and his giant Mech Man, Lusca in Independence Port -- and flying through the portal into the Shadow Shard, winding up in front of, say, Faathim the Kind, where he sends them back with an exhortation to recruit your most powerful heroes and send them to him...

Rumors of a necromantic ritual to be performed on midnight of the solstice are greatly exaggerated. >_> <_< I mean, where would I get the money to GET to that site, no matter its mystical resonance nor purely coincidental resemblance to certain ritual shapes.

I'm sure you would not be sending in your minions' local chapter.
We were heroes. We were villains. At the end of the world we all fought as one. It's what we did that defines us.
The end occurred pretty much as we predicted: all servers redlining until midnight... and then no servers to go around.

Somewhere beyond time and space, if you look hard you might find a flash of silver trailing crimson: a lone lost Spartan on his way home.

Bypass the flight costs and use space-folding, perhaps? Should be easy enough to get to the site. That building has cold-riveted girders with cores of pure selenium.

FUN FACT: The Disney Parks are STEAM-CLEANED(!!) every night after closing. They have a Zamboni-like machine (made of brass?) that rolls around the pathways picking up any bits of popcorn or cigarette butts that the sweepers missed, and maintenance crews have steam-powered backpacks with "wands" they can use to clean building facades and hard-to-reach places. That's why the parks are always dripping wet in the morning, even after a bone-dry desert night in Southern California.

Now I'm trying to picture Walt Disney with his hair spiked straight up and no mustache. Hmmmmmmmm...

Personally knowing several people who work at the theme park, it would not surprise me in the least.  They're a cult over there.  I have them hidden from my Facebook feed because all they ever do is instagram on the job and gush about how incredible it is.  I'll never understand Disneyland.

But I'd consider buying a pass if Disney would consider buying the IP.  That's a fair trade, right?

My uncle was in charge of designing and building a parade at Disneyland (California), and was so glad when it was done, since it was just a contract gig. He had to cut his hair short and shave while he was working for them. It seems like a little thing, but he's now a high muckity-muck at one of the California universities, and they don't make him keep his hair short or shave his goatie.
I wouldn't use the word "replace," but there's no word for "take over for you and make everything better almost immediately," so we just say "replace."

Bad news. Disney already has time travel. It's called Dinosaur and it's in Animal Kingdom. I suspect, however, it may be dimensional travel. The portal looks suspiciously like Portal Corps.

Also the parks are packed with automatons. They are in the rides. Almost all of them. And maybe, just maybe, they are also popcorn vendors.

Lets face it.  At the rate they are taking over, if ANYONE has the power for it all to be a _____ plot, it would be Disney.  ;)
