I don't know, I am still too new there. I have heard people in zone chat talking about CoH who seemed to have played it before, but it would be nice to know if there is a network going on. The forums might be a place to check for that.

I made a guild of my own with the help of a 2nd account, and put my characters in it to avoid blind invites. If I knew of a CoX guild, I'd try to join it though.. I'm on the RP server, called Faeblight

I picked up the Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection and have begun with Metal Gear, the MSX version.  Other than the old NES port, I've never played any of them and so I look forward to messing around with it, especially if Vita remote play works (to be tested).

I'm also downloading Dark Age of Camelot, which I have not played since.....2002.  Friends have expressed an interest in returning, so I may check it out.

I kinda jump between games. These past few days I've been playing a lot of soul sacrifice. For a while I played a game called s4 league with a group of friends, but they no longer have internet to play that, so I kinda stopped. Other than that it's older games, with a new game catching my attention every couple of months. A lot of fighting games as well, but I've always played them on the side xD

So, as of late, I've been playing a bit more of...lot's of things, initially driven by a Steam Trading card binge.  But, in particular, I've been bouncing between Mark of the Ninja (a fun stealthy platformer), Portal 2 (been on the backlog for a while), and re-playing X-Com: Enemy Unknown in Classic difficulty mode (while anticipating the expansion).

Still only playing Avengers Alliance but still enjoying it.  The pvp is fun since it's turn based and the opposing players characters are controlled by ai so there is none of the fast twitch factor that makes me suck at pvp in any other game.  The pvp is very much a pay to win game but careful picking of your team and items even the low powered ones can make a big difference.  I'm doing pretty well for never having spent a cent on the game.

For the past several months, I've taken to the European skies of the WWI era in Rise of Flight.
It's a very realistic flight simulator that offers several different types of period aircraft in single player
mode, campaign mode, and several multiplayer servers.  As an aviation enthusiast, I think this one
blows the doors off of FSX (or any other flightsim I've ever seen).  I'm quite comfy there.  ;)

Occasionally, I also play Marvel Heroes - the friend who originally got me started in CoH plays it.

I've also spent some time with Diablo 3, STO, and SWTOR.

I took a quick look at MWO early on, but there wasn't even support for joysticks back then, which I thought
was exceedingly short-sighted of them (if not outright stupid), and I've not looked at it since. I've heard
it's gotten better since, but the sour taste still lingers, so I'm not in any rush to revisit it.

Currently playing NHL 14, FIFA 14 and Marvel Heroes

For anyone that tried Marvel Heroes and gave up on it, it is a much better game now that at release. Lots more content, seriously fun now, and you can earn heroes through normal gameplay through collecting eternity splinters which drop randomly. Well worth looking into/revisiting (they also upped the starter hero choices to 9)

Was going to give Rift another look, but they merged the server I was on into a newly created server and gave precedence to names on the new server, so I lost character names that I'd had since early access. No warning given. Not impressed, and enough for me never to play the game again)

I gave up on both Aion and Secret World for various reasons...
I burned out completely on Marvel before it even made it out of beta...
I play with my one little Champions character about once a month...

Mostly, I've settled into losing myself in a year-old PS3 title called Journey when I get the urge to play a game. It's pretty, its music is nice and to some extent it even lets me fly. My hooded traveler won't ever replace my City characters, but I'm happy to spend time with him while I'm waiting for something that can.

Just finished a run-through of Dishonored, good game, wish I was better at being sneaky. :P

Started playing STO again, going through the Romulan story.

Also trying out a FTP Diablo2 clone called Path to Exile.  I am liking it so far.

Guild Wars 2 is my main home these days. It's no CoX by any means, but I wasn't looking for a superhero game with GW2 either.
I have long wanted to get back into fantasy, and even after 6 ~ 7 odd years, I'm too jaded from my experience with the community of WoW to ever want to go back there.
That, and GW2 does something that few other games lets me do... I can actually watch the game and enjoy playing it, rather then just watch and play the UI. Not sure if that makes much sense, but it's really the best way I can put it.

Other games I play...

Champions Online - for when I want to feel super heroic and fly again...

Star Trek Online - Because I have always loved Star Trek and that game is remarkably well done, with constant work being done on improvements...

Neverwinter - When I just want some plain hack n slash, though admittedly I haven't played it for over a month now...

Game I have tried...

The Secret World - It was a good game, but for some reason, it just didn't capture me much...

Rift - Another good game, but again, it just failed to capture my interest for some reason...

Final Fantasy XIV-ARR - So much better then it's predecessor, I really have to give SquareEnix props for that. I might try this one again at some point...
Always remember... The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing...

I started playing Path of Exile again in the last couple of days. I have to say, I've noticed some additions since my time in open beta. Immediately, I noticed some new starting equipment drops, and enemy types in the second area of the game. If you're into Action RPGs similar to Diablo or Torchlight, this is a good F2P option. All the items in the store are cosmetic or silly(like dance emotes), so there is no buying power or anything.

I've mentioned Dofus a bunch of times before, but this is a new development.

They've gone into a full-blown superhero/supervillain kick (in an otherwise pure fantasy game).  A new series of missions are being given out by Captain Amakna (yes, he's wearing red, white, and blue, and, yes, he has a shield) sending you after enemies they're explicitly calling "supervillains", including the Dramak the Puppetmaster and the power-armor wearing oceanographer Merkator.  They've added four new Bounty Quests to capture supervillains who are obviously based on comics characters (most notably a parody of Poison Ivy named Poison Amy).  They've even retconned existing dungeon bosses Count Harebourg and his four lieutenants into being five of these supervillains.

On top of that, the next update early next month is introducing what are explicitly called "sidekicks" (and the first sidekicks to be made available are "copies" of a team of superheroes - and one supervillain! - called the Multimen).  I'm actually looking forward to this system, since finding a team is often difficult.  (It's a turn-based combat system on a grid, similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, so playing two characters is not difficult - you just get two sets of actions each combat turn instead of one)  Plus, most of my characters have already earned enough Achievement Points to be able to unlock two sidekicks the instant the goes live on December 10th.  (The other four you have to buy from the shop, though you can use the in-game currency to buy the shop currency if you don't want to spend real money - it's like buying Zen with Questionite in CO)

It's still a bit of a punch to the gut to have all this superheroic content right after CoH went down, though.

I'm bad and that's good.
I'll never be good and that's not bad.
There's no one I'd rather be than me.

...unless I could be Batman, of course. Everybody wants to be Batman.

I've been in gaming limbo for the last year. I went from WOW, DCUO, Perfect World, SWTO, ect.. right now, I'm playing Marvel Heroes and bought Skyrim tonight for offline play.

I've heard a lot about Secret World so I might give it a shot if this comp can handle it. LOL!

I've been playing STO the last few weeks. It's much better then the free trial I remember trying out when it first launched.

Tomorrow morning (French time) is the update that will add the Sidekick system to Dofus, and I'm really excited about it, actually. Since I last posted in this thread, I've had a chance to try the system out on their Beta server, and I'm really, really looking forward to it now.  More than that, since I posted last, they've added a seventh Sidekick to the game, a Knight (rather than a superhero), and he's going to be free for subscribers, too, along with two of the Multimen Sidekicks.  The Knight is a general-purpose attacker, while the Multimen are specialists (a healer, a melee damage-dealer, a ranged damage-dealer, a supporter, a tank, and a battlefield manipulator) - the two free ones will be the tank and the battlefield manipulator (Trank and Krobax, their names are).

I am seriously as excited about this as I was about the Sorcery power pool in CoH (for similar reasons - an addition to existing characters, rather than something I'd have to make a whole new character to try out).

(It says a lot about the game's community, though, that they're all focused on minor nerfs to a few of the classes - including one class that got one single very minor nerf - and ignoring this new system entirely)

... I do want to try to make all their costumes in Icon.
