Training the Next Generation
« on: August 18, 2013, 11:42:07 PM »
So my daughter came home from visiting her mom in the Mid-West, and while we were kind of chillin' waiting for dinner to finish cooking, I decided to play with the new popmenus and Icon 1.71.

While I played, my daughter saw what I was doing and asked what it was. I explained it to her and she asked if she could play too. So I set her up to create her own toon. So when one of the successors comes out, or the servers come out, she'll be ready! I only hope she doesn't fall to evil and I have to face her in PvP.

Here are a couple pics of her making her toon.

Cool! My 4 year old grandson has created 2 alts that he loves to fly through the city.

Icon is perfect for him, since there is no danger from "bad guys". He can run and or fly to his little hearts content! :)

That is SOOOOOO awesome!. I hold out hope that they will get to experience the game for real someday!

Ahh, good, good.  Another young, impressionable mind to indoctrinate with the glory of Arachnos.  Once the mission to restore the Rogue Isles is a success, we'll have the Propaganda & Recruitment department ready for her shortly.

In the meantime, try a villain, youg one.  We have more fun.

Yeah, and I hear they have cookies too!

.....Wait a sec, that doesn't sound like me. Since when would I support a villain? *shakes head back and forth*

Heeeyyyy!!! We agreed no mind control. You know I'm gullible! >:(

Yeah, and I hear they have cookies too!

I thought it was donuts, some of them with sprinkles.

Both of my sons (10 and 7) have been playing in Icon since its release, and love it. The older one used to duo with my in live CoX (Heroside and Praetoria - I reserved Villains for myself). They're the reason I did the first maps popmenu.

Man, this is awesome. I'm glad to see that these kids love icon.

Just goes to show, the spirit of COH lives on!
