Looking for MOV help
« on: August 21, 2013, 11:45:52 PM »
I am looking for an MOV with arms and legs outstretched. Someone mentioned to me that there is a save Statesman MOV but I have no idea what it is.

Basically, I have characters that need to look held in mid-air. Does anyone know the Statesman MOV or another MOV that could work?

STATESSHACKLE_A and STATESSHACKLE_B  gives you this:

Note, though, that all the models are on the same Z coordinate.  So it lifts you up and applies the glowing effect.   It seemed twitchy, but that demo is messy and I may have fat fingered something.  I did not play with these:

STATES_FALL
STATES_LAND
STATES_THANK
STATES_DONE

Alternately, you could try  EntRagDoll See Also.  :D

That MOV would be perfect if it didn't have the FX tied to it. I'll try the other suggestions as soon as I can.  Thank you! :)

If you're looking to do screenshots only, the jumping jacks emote, timed properly, might look right. But obviously not for a movie.

I do stills for my comics at www.jkcomics.com.
That is a great idea. I'll see if it'll work for what I need. Thank you, again.

And if you can't get the timing down with a screenshot, you could always make a 5 or 10 second demo and use -demodump on the command line to pick and choose.

Does it not have an option to generate JPGs from a demo?

Yes, as well as another image file option. It also lets me select how many screen shots per second. So I have this part down, unless the program decides to stop working somehow lol
