I'd send you some warmth from sunny California, but we're fresh out.

Don't worry we're supposed to be 28ish degrees in sunny Colorado this weekend :P.

And the snow has arrived. About 3 inches in Littleton for me.

Waddle the Penguin looks over from behind a snow drift.  The ice controlling empathic fowl is confused.  "Waddle hero?" he asks.

I like where I live, shoveling rain is easier than shoveling snow.  ;D
It takes a village to raise a child. And it takes a villain to explain the value of lunch money.

-Me:"Rikti Monkey farts"
-Random CoHer: "I'm going to you for all my questions from now on!"

I've don't think i've tried to shovel water. Mud, sand, snow, dog ....stuff, yes. water, no.

That's what I was hoping for too, but it seems Atlanta GA isn't south enough lately.  Guess I need to find an IT job in Basseterre.

I got 5 Inches on Sunday.  It trickled in nice and slowly to leaving me two wonderful options - shovel multiple times, or shovel in the dark.

When I read that first sentence I took that the wrong way. Then I realized it was about the weather. Oops.

Looking at some of the videos here reminds me of so much I miss about the game. Originally I wasn't going to get it, when it first came out but I am so glad I did. I swear I miss it like a loss of a family member. Nothing will ever (in my opinion) replace it. I wish that after all this time NCSoft would relent and sell the rights so we could get back home.

I've finally come to accept that it's not coming back, so I'm looking to the successor projects now. I've recently been binge-rewatching the Ship of Heroes progress videos on YT, and there's very definitely CoH's artistic flavor in that game - it's like CoH in a new setting. The recordings of the live-streams give you a terrific "look" behind the scenes, and insight into what they're doing and planning. I'm very much looking forward to test-driving that game.

Hope is a hard thing to maintain, in the face of overwhelming odds against the return of the game, combined with the lack of information.  I certainly get that.  But, until someone in the know, puts an impervium sword through the heart of that hope, with conclusive information that the effort is truly dead...an ember of that hope will always burn, and I will keep returning to this place.
What was no more, is now reborn!

Always hope......

.....and perhaps plan a commando raid on their HQ and "creatively acquire"  all digital and hard copies of the game and any legacy hardware that was used to run it.
In fearful COH-less days
In Raging COH-less nights
With Strong Hearts Full, we shall UNITE!
When all seems lost in the effort to bring CoH back to life,
Look to Cyberspace, where HOPE burns bright!
