I think of the world of Paragon as being a "City in a Bottle." Time has stopped, Hellions are in mid-punch, Nemesis is half way through pouring himself a good German beer in his hideout... Recluse is daydreaming about Red Widow...

And all of my characters are waiting in mid-animatin for the clock to start moving forward again.

If it turns out that the game restarts and none of our characters can be brought back, then in my head at least, it'll be a fesh parallel universe that opens up, NOT an obliterated version of the old one.  Old Paragon will be forever in suspended animation, call it Paragon 33 if you will, in honor of AP33 and the Marvel method of numbering realities.

Capt. Incompetent is learning his battle-cry of "I apologize!" in other languages.  Unfortunately in German all he can remember is "Ich habe Gas." (I have gas.)  Fortunately this does send people fleeing.

Sofa Kingdom (Inv/SS tank) just don't care. If he can get back to smashing bad guys he'd maybe smile more, but collecting garbage around suburban Phoenix ain't too bad a gig. At $17/hr he can do double shifts and not even break a sweat, then spend all night hanging out with the grannies, swigging cheap beer, smiling and nodding every so often (so they don't get pissed off at him). He still chants his moniker, under his breath, in fond remembrance of the adoring townsfolk who gazed at their watches, jogged by and waved, scratched their temples and shook their heads into their newspaper headlines as they strode past him in the streets chanting his name "so fuh king dum, so fuh king dum..."

Void Spyke, clever villain that she is, fell in with a street gang after she escaped and somehow managed to ascend to the Presidency! A distinctly super powered Presidency, at that...last I saw she was having a bit of a dust up with some aliens. Wasn't looking too great for the aliens, either....

Natirri, being an Aspect of War, exists in many times and places at once. In the timelines of Norrath, she's a fierce berserker from the snows of Everfrost. In her sojourns in Azeroth, she lived among the proud warriors of the Horde, and in death rose stronger, a master of blood and frost. More than one city has also seen her visit to come help chop crime rates...literally.

Undying Light and Prismshade stayed til the last working to get as many supers and civs evacuated as possible. As the last seconds passed, Undying Light shoved Prismshade through the same portal that they'd been using to evacuate everyone else and then closed it, so nothing would reach the other side. She'd heard legends that by rapidly shifting forms to manipulate mass and momentum, a Kheldian could launch themselves into space. She took a deep breath and shifted, feeling the pull of gravity fall away...

Oh, Aegis Rose has been making a few rounds. The fun thing about alternate dimensions being a thing is that she can go anywhere she wants as long as she has the area code.

She moved to Riverview in The Sims 3 for a while, raised a family, which gave me a few ideas for if she's to have a legacy in a new game, and I finally figured out what her civilian name was. She woke up on a field in Ylisse where she fought alongside Prince Chrom to save that world from a Fell Dragon in Fire Emblem Awakening. She moved to Everfree Island as a Mii and... well... I don't get Tomodachi Life. At all.

In short, while City of Heroes died, Rose got set free, really. She's become my go-to character for a lot of different games when I need an idea for a female main character. And if City of heroes actually does return, she'll move back into Paragon City, but changed from her experiences in all the different parallel worlds.

Never got around to making a Rose Shepherd for Mass Effect, though. Would probably be a Sentinel. And a full Paragon, of course. I mean... it's called "Paragon". She kind of has to.

Specta Phantom (ill/emp troller) has gone to the spectral plane to fight the darkness head on. His nemesis Lord Specto (Dark/dark dom) the dark spectral champion, followed him. They await to be reborn in new body's.

Rocky Crumble (stone/ss tanker) is currently training to beat back the next Assault of Devouring Earth.

Spectral champions have showed up in other worlds though since the city disappeared. Seems like the Spectas need a new physical champion. Though the latest has disappeared again. Saying something like "The Grand Champions are returning, I must prepare".

I'm starting to lean toward leaving all my old characters on "Earth NCSoft". I kind of mentally wound down their stories anyway.

Then I'd start fresh with all-new characters in "NuCoH". Hopefully we get I24, because I really want to make a Bio/Street tank and a DP/Martial blaster.

My very first Villain, Achimrst, is probably crushing peoples bodies and mentally turning people into vegetables and eating them as one. That evil bastid!

Hopefully Cyborg Chris, my blaster hero, is using his electricity powers to stop him from his murderous rampage throughout the world.

The obvious answer is zoning.  Another good reply is trying to get to the mission door but having to fight this stupid rubber-band.  But really what my toons have been doing is waiting in the queue to login on Freedom.  I'm number 302 in the queue so it won't be too much longer now.

Many of my favorites are running around CO. Most of them are already level 40 thanks to Alert missions. Though I just can't stomach running through any of those same leveling arcs yet again.
